That is very observant! And not far off at all
It kind of is based off of a real life thing where like, in 2014 i was seriously depressed and shocked about the world around me, and there were some instances of trauma too, back then my hair was LONG and i mean, grown that it reached my shoulders and stuff
Then the new year began, I was finally out of high school, I decided to have all that hair cut off to start a new phase of my life and move on
Kinda a lengthy personal thing to add on there, but it inspired that in the comic a bit!
Thank you all for the B day wishes btw! I had a busy day then stayed up just to finish the update (well, almost, had to go to bed)
Pigged out and ate lots, got some new clothes i HOPE to wear, if autumn actually frikken begins.

I hope this update makes up for missing last weekend, I always feel guilt when I cannot provide any content

I really, REALLY hate to do this, but I really may need to hold off updating a page for just this one week
You guys have no idea how often I spend time working on this, coupled with college and it seriously draining me, I’ve been getting up at 4 AM just to make classes on time, not because I want to, but because I have to, and long commutes don’t necessarily make it better,
Even just to finish pages that are really detailed in art I’m usually going to be staying up until like, 2 or 3 in the morning to finish it, just to make sure it looks really goodEven as I write this I’m just so drained from constantly drawing and traveling and losing sleep, I’ve never felt physically weaker than I have at this point from constantly doing it, even just cutting one week out would help, even if it does lose me some followers
Even typing this now I’m wobbly, slow, not functioning mentally well at all and eyes VERY swollen too
I talked to numerous friends and they were really concerned for my health, and I think I’m going to follow their advice and take a tiny break, I’m really sorry about this and hope you can forgive me.
I will try to get a new update here next Weekend, inbetween this, if i do sketch anything at all, i”ll post it here, any content is better than none and I know you guys are all waiting.

My bday’s on the 24th this month, wish me luck that I’ll go see Wizarding World of Harry Potter (prob not on that day), that was 100% my jam as a kid and i loved the movies lots, so this outta be interesting, 5 year old me would freak the heck out at that in joy, my body is ready
Also, the first Potter movie was 15 years ago… God.
