To me it’s not that uncommon of a name, numerous countries and US states have a city called that, even here in California there’s a Valencia nearby, not to mention numerous people who bear the name of ‘Valencia’,

I mainly decided to name it off of a song from the 20s that bears the same name, it seemed like a pretty name.
If i named it something like ‘Florence’ or ‘Madrid’ then it’d certainly be a “eeh” choice

If it seriously bothers a lot of people that much I guess I have to change it, but I really don’t see it as an issue :/

Just to be clear, I haven’t finished pages yet, but I am currently writing the script for them, I’m planning a few pages for the first one because you gotta set stuff up, establishing shots a.k.a things might be slow at first so I won’t let you guys wait too long to get things going.

I might just make the newest pic the cover for the next issue, just because I’m impatient af and want to get started on the comic sooner
